Mother's, count your children!

When you go on a family activity, you should bring everyone home. That should be a rule, a law, a goal. You would think that with two mothers, one grandmother and one aunt that we could be responsible enough to count the kids before we left Jumping Jacks. But apparently not. We had just all unloaded the kids from the cars when Amy realized we were short one, Tyson! She jumped back in her car and raced back. Just as Sara was looking up the number of Jumping Jacks, they called to tell her they had a very upset little boy there. When we were getting everyone's shoes on and loading into the car, Tyson decided to hide and we left him.

Jennie could relate to Tyson's experience. She remembers being left at home alone when she was three. We were loading up the car and I asked if everyone had a jacket. She didn't so I sent her in to get one and then we left! She remembers calling Deb telling her that her family left her. We were about to the airport before we realized she was missing. She says she was scarred for life.
Carrie wasn't with us at Jumping Jacks, she was at a bridal shower. That will teach her to trust her siblings and her mother with her children.
Jumping Jacks was really fun for the kids. They chased each other, jumped and jumped for an hour and a half. Cameron was sopping wet with sweat!
Chase got a rock tumbler for Christmas and wanted Gramps to supply him with some rocks from Delta. He has enough now for a year or so of rock tumbling.

That is Tyson in the orange striped shirt. How could anyone forget such a cute little guy? Carson, Cameron, Reese, Chase in front and Luke, Easton and Allie in back.
Tyson wasn't the only child forgotten by a parent on Saturday. Carson went to basketball practice or it might have been a game and when Sean went to pick him up he couldn't find him. The gym was empty and no cars in the parking lot. Sean said he was only five minutes late. hum.....Carson was pretty upset by the time they found each other. Word to the wise...teach your children your phone number! Carson didn't know either of his parent's phone number.
Reese wanted me to take her picture. So I did. "Let me see, let me see! Oh, it is beautiful!" She is such a girl!
We topped off the day with the girls fixing a great dinner, and then watching the Cougars beat the Utes! A really good day.

Jacket Soccer

Picture and article in the Stephenville Empire Tribune

Senior Striker Mason Taylor and the Stephenville offense have been a step ahead of their foes this season outscoring opponents 30 to 4 over 7 games.

Stephenville (7 - 0) erupted for three goals in the last 15 minutes of the first half to break a 1 - 1 tie on its way to hammering Killeen Shoemaker (7 - 1 ) In boys soccer action at the Lem Block Field Tuesday night.

Our Dan isn't in the picture, but he is backing up Mason on the Stephenville varsity soccer team. I don't know all the soccer positions, but Dan plays the starting Center man...in the middle. His job is to keep the other team from scoring and you can tell by their winning record, he does a great job. It's kind of hard for me to cheer for a insect...but then we have been cheering for a rabbit for a long time! Good Job, Mason and Dan!

I found these pictures on the Milford High School Alumni page. I think the girl front left is my
Aunt Sue. Chris, Barb, Annie, Liz, what do you think? The year is 1946. Have you seen this picture before?

I think the little dark eyed boy second row from the back, second from the left is Danny. What do you think? It says it is a Primary program. I think he quit going to Primary at twelve, so it could be him. Tyson, Hailey, Angie, Dary what do you think? Have you ever seen this picture. I haven't.

Gramps birthday and January fun

Carrie's turn to hold Creighton.
Gramps always chooses TGI Friday as his birthday dinner. He loves the ribs.

Don't let the smile fool you, She is very high maintenance.

Gramps (alias the baby hog) holding Creighton

We were at the restaurant for an hour and a half and Kyjah slept through it all.

Amy and Kim cheese for the camera.

After dinner, most of us went to the BYU vs Colorado State basketball game. We had a great time Lots of cheering and dancing going on.

Babies!

Gramps and I went over to tend the twins while Steve and Kim went on a well deserved date to a movie. After watching Kyjah and Creighton for three hours, we were tired. We can't imagine having to tend them alone all day long. Kim is a trooper. She is doing a great job on very little sleep. She says after these two having just one to tend will be a breeze. As you can see from these phone picutres, they are really growing. Creighton is 8' 2" and Kyjah is 7' 12". Just about double their birth weight. Don't let this picture of Kyjah fool you. She is not a sleeping princess. She lets you know what she wants and when she wants it! Gramps thinks she is beautiful. She already has him wrapped around her little finger. I guess Leisha, Kendall, Allie and Reese will have to move over and share!
Creighton is a Stephen clone I think. At least personality wise. He seems so relaxed and happy all the time. He will lay on the couch awake and just look around. He even likes to watch tv like his dad!
