Body Parts

We really aren't as bored as this post may sound. We are adjusting to the Springville location very well. Luke doesn't mind his mom being gone yet. Of course, we have painted and played zoo and train and watched movies and gone shopping so he hasn't had time to miss her yet. I haven't had to pull the making cookies routine yet and I still haven't made play dough so I think he will be fine for quite a long time.

One afternoon, Luke wanted to take some pictures. After he took quite a few of me that I refuse to post , he wanted me to take pictures of him. Not just him, but his ears, and mostly his mouth. I really don't know why. He didn't say. He thought it was funny. I thought you might enjoy seeing these and I know he will.

Wasps!

I thought you might enjoy this self portrait of my wasp stings. If I haven't told you the story already,( I forget who I tell what to, there are so many to tell!) There is a wasp nest inside the passenger side outside mirror of Steve pickup. We didn't know that and drove it to Sara's. When I got in the truck to leave Sara's we noticed a lot of wasps, but thought they were from Sara's house. They weren't! When I got out of the truck at home, the wasps attacked my face. I guess they didn't want to go to Springville! The nest is still there, we didn't want to mess with it. I think we might leave them for Steve to deal with.

Zachary's Visit

Isn't this a great picture. Mike has was so excited to come home and go fishing in Beaver Mountains. It meant he had finished law school and taken the bar exam and now he got to do something he loves. Sara picked Mike and Carlie and Zachary up at the airport. They had
their time here scheduled full with activities. They went to dinner with friends, and rock climbing with Carlie's sister Emily.
Thursday afternoon we met Sara in Nephi to pick up Mike and Carlie. We drove down to our trailers to spend a couple of nights. It had been raining but was very cool and nice.

This is one of Mike and Carlie's pictures. I thought it was especially nice. Thursday evening we went down to the lake to fish. Mike and Carlie and Zach got up early on Friday morning and went down again.
The girls came down Friday afternoon with all the kids. It was still raining, so you can imagine what color the carpet is in my trailer! It will clean up, I am sure. We went fishing again, and caught a few. Someone insisted on building a fire, so after dinner we made smors and got stinky before bed.

Gramps and Zachary hanging out in the trailer.

Amy watching Luke and Tyson fish at Upper Kents. We didn't catch any fish but it was fun casting! Someone taught Tyson how to cast and we can tell you that Tony Hawk Wii does really help with eye hand coordination. He is good!

Tyson, Carson with Zachary, Chase, Carson, Luke and Allie all enjoying chasing each other and the cats around the back yard.

Easton's batting stance!

These two pictures were just too funny to not post. When I showed Jennie these pictures, she said that was Easton's batting stance! I think the second one is just hilarious. He wasn't the focus of the picture, but he wasn't going to miss the chance to pose. Please disregard Luke. He seems to be having a boy moment. I have already been scolded by his mother for posting such a picture.

Carson's Baptism

Carson was baptized and confirmed a member of the Church, Saturday August 2, 2008 by his father, Sean. Grandfathers Rod Ogden and Ken Myers were the witnesses. He had to be baptized twice because his knees just didn't want to stay under!

Uncle Steve flew home from Pennsylvania to talk about baptism ( the tears did flow!) and Uncle Brian talked about the Holy Ghost.

Allie sang, Aunt Jennie led the music and Sean played the piano.

Grandpa Ogden and Uncle Garrett said the prayers.
