Museums and Boys

Field Trip! Staying home all of the time is boring! This morning we had an appointment at the Museum of Peoples and Cultures on the BYU campus. Our neighbor Scott , Ethan's daddy works there so we decided we should go see what it was all about. The museum sponsors a reading time for preschoolers on Friday mornings . This one was a special one with a clay activity. After listening to a story, the boys were given some playdough and shown how to make a pinch pot. Of course, they are experienced playdough people and did a great job. After making their own pots, we took a tour of the museum to check out all of their pots. One favorite was the dog. We decided we needed more clay to make one of our own.

Since it was only 11:00 AM and we weren't ready for lunch we decided to give the Bean Museum a look also. We arrived just as a school bus full of kids were leaving. Luke spied the gift shop right off the bat and had a hard time concentrating on the animals, but we made it through without any incident...touching anything they shouldn't for example.

My Favorite Animal in the Museum. Does he look familiar?
